It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.

I was born in Puerto Rico and migrated here to the U.S. in 1989. It was not an easy transition; a new culture and a new environment. I had to tap into my emotional intelligence to be able to adjust to the new environment. Unlike my twin brother who struggled greatly with all the changes, I was able to manage my emotions in the way I interacted in my new environment. For some of us, that does not come naturally; it is something we have to learn.

I have worked in Early Childhood Education for 13 years. I have Certification from Autism Certification Center, Ohio Department of Education. I have 900 hours of certified hours of Medical Massage Therapy from the Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage.

For many years I have worked with the urban youth, leading them in service-learning projects in our community. Working with community partners like the American Red Cross, Rape Crisis Center, Domestic Violence Center, St. Malachi Center and many community schools. I have worked with Pre-K to our Aging Population.

Currently, I work with families who have special needs; helping families find better ways of managing disruptive behavior. I also work

My passion is to help every person achieve their full potential by helping them develop their Emotional Intelligence. Emotional Intelligence is the foundation for a host of critical skills, like flexibility, time management, social skills, stress tolerance and much more. It impacts most of everything we say and do each day. Helping to manage and develop these areas is something I’ve been doing for many years now and is something I am passionate about.
